Learners and Assessment Activities
Unfortunately, many teachers often teach without taking the time to find out just how much their students are understanding, as compared to how much effort they are putting into their work in order to receive a good grade. However, in my learning experience, I was fortunate to be able to have the example of an outstanding professor who took the time to explain the course, its intended outcomes, and the learning we would take away from it for our future. Many times, we as students get so involved in striving for a good grade that we actually forget what is important in what we are learning. Are we learning to remember, or just to do well on the test? Every once in a while, a great professor comes around to remind us about this critical message
